My last Polaroids

I have been the lucky owner of a 1957 Type 110A Polaroid Camera..

The film for this beautiful antique has not been produced for almost 10 years. I had saved two boxed in my freezer, waiting for just the right photo session to try it out. I was not sure it was any good and sure enough, one box was not. The two images here are the very last images I will ever make on this beautiful camera. Film is now sold by other folks who froze some, with production dates going back to 2017 and further back. A pack of 10 sheets sells for $248 and more. RIP my loved camera

Mitzvah’s

During the Pandemic years many Bat and Bar Mitzvah’s were held in backyards, or other outdoor areas. The Rabbi brought a portable Ark, and some had small travel Torahs.

The Pandemic ceremonies were especially poignant, proving our resilience and love of our children.

This momentous occasion for both the young person becoming of age in the Jewish tradition, and the family, is a day filled with joy, some tears to see the child moving towards adulthood, excitement, and dedication. My job is to capture all the moments of this special time, from Temple to party, Torah to Horah.
