• Mentorships

    Growing as a new wedding photographer comes with a lot of challenges, from handling client zooms and phone calls, to building a portfolio, to working with couples to determine a good timeline for photography. You will have an opportunity to join us at a wedding where you will have real time experience working along side myself and my second photographers. This is a time to try things and later have a meeting where we can look over the work and critique it. You will be there for approx. 7 hours shooting when appropriate.

    We talk about your fear of posing, lighting on the fly using minimal equipment, pricing . We will chat at least 5x’s per week for up to an hour for each session You can ask me anything. Office hours will be posted for zooms or phone meetings This also covers portfolio critique . Mentorships are two months long .

  • Portraits, lighting and Posing

    I work with 2- 6 folks at a time to learn both “natural” light and studio lighting, on and off camera flash, for flattering and evocative portraiture. Learn how to bring your concepts to life. minimal equipemnt required- a good camera, one or two flashes . I will cover all the best to all the least expensive lighting equipment, what will work well on a budget and how to shoot under any condition at all

    This is a two day course the cost is $300 A light lunch is provided. The course is held at my Kingston Studio

  • Advanced Lighting techinique

    This is a one on one course .I cover all kinds of studio and location lighting, useful for both portraits, weddings and personal exploration. Everything is covered from led lighting, studio strobes, grids, gobos, reflectors, on and off camera flash for events and portraits, best practices for flattering portraits, as well as conceptual lighting using projectors and available light.

    You will join me with models for live shooting session here at my studio and on location.

    This is a $700 course and we work together for for 4- i/2 days, over the a two week time period
