Tribeca affair

Katie and Alan wanted a wedding without too many bells and whistles, but a party shared with dearest friends and family. She and Alan picked Mark Forgione Restaurant in Tribeca, for both its warm ambiance, dark brick and woods, as well as its amazing food.

Family stayed nearby at the Hotel Conrad, a huge new building that was able to accommodate everyone in one place.

The couple looked completely stunning, Katie in a silk satin retro styled gown. Being a fashion stylist in NYC, she has the best esthetic, unmatched fashion flair. Alan had a custom made dinner jacket in silver blue. He was one handsome dude, dressed in tuxedo pants with that stunning coat.

The restaurant was adorned simply, candles, lovely flowers, family photos. It needed so very little.

The only time of the day where I was noticeable was actually as we did the portraits on the streets of Tribeca. Family joined us in front of what was once a warehouse building and now High end lofts. It still had that urban feel that Katie and Alan were looking for.

The DJ for the reception was much more of a club DJ and really had the party rocking. I was so impressed with the flow of the music. He had the best timing.

Tribeca will never be the same after this crowd descended upon the street and made their way across the street to the local bar for a wild funny after party.
