The Metropolitan Club

When a glorious venue is backdrop to a wonderful couple , it is a dream come true for a photographer. Every thing at the Metropolitan Club NYC was so very perfect, from the grand staircase to the stunning chandeliers and red walls. But the best thing was all the love this Pia and Michael share with friends and family alike. Pia’s best friend gave a fantastic, truly theatre worthy toast, Pia’s brother played piano and sang ( he is a very accomplished composer) and Michael sang a delicious tune- It’s Got To Be You! Wow! I felt so very lucky to be at a fabulous venue like the Metropolitan Club and hear such wonderful performers.

Pia, (being a writer of Broadway theatre) and Michael, (a news caster on New York One News,) are the kindest souls. I immediately knew, upon meeting Pia, that we were very much on the same page. We spent very little time on scripted portraits and a great deal of time with me shooting emotional evocative candids. Pia wanted to relive her wedding with the photography. I think we managed a stunning collection of real deal moments and a smattering of lovely portraits. I made sure we got a little of the NYC skyline too.
